T-Rek is Australian producer/musician/DJ, Tarek Smallman, and THE T-REK BAND is the vehicle for him to perform live versions of his guitar based club productions including Out My Bitch! (ARIA #1) and The Devil Claps among others. THE T-REK BAND live show is a continuously mixed (DJ style) blend of club heavy bass rhythms and searing desert rock psychedelia.
T-Rek handles guitar, vocal and music machine duties onstage, with a rotating cast of guest musicians on live drums, percussion and analogue
synthesizers. As well as performing around Australia weekly as a DJ, guitarist and vocalist, T-Rek has collaborated and performed with a diverse range of bands and musicians on stage and in the studio, including past BDO alumni Kim Salmon, Infusion, and Something for Kate.
T-Rek's new album 'Dance Music' will be released February 2012 and you’ll get to hear it first at the BIG DAY OUT
