Cut Off Your Hands launched spectacularly on the indie scene in 2007, signing in quick succession with SpeaknSpell, US label Frenchkiss and then 679 in the UK. Their frenetic lives shows became a talking point all over, Cut Off Your Hands toured relentlessly and they are now back with a brilliant second album. Hollow, that recently released album from these well-travelled Aucklanders, has been getting five star raves locally as well as already hitting the radar of Pitchfork, who called it an album for “anyone who pines for the days of classic college rock”.
